Founder Story
Tennis changed the way I understood progress.
Hi, I’m Sophie.
I started Volosophy because tennis changed the way I understood progress.
When I first fell in love with the sport, I wasn’t looking for a company idea. I was looking for momentum. Tennis gave me a simple loop I could return to again and again:
> Show up. Try. Miss. Adjust. Repeat.
Session by session, I learned that progress doesn’t come from effort alone. It comes from structure.
As I got deeper into tennis, I realized that structure is exactly what most players are missing. Coaching is valuable, but expensive and inconsistent. Hitting partners are hard to schedule. Ball machines provide repetition, but rarely help you understand what to work on next.
So players practice, but learning doesn’t always compound.
My background is in AI and robotics. I studied computer science at UPenn, built products from prototype to mass production with partners like Foxconn and Flex, and led product at an AI + AR startup that grew from prototype to unicorn.
But Volosophy is personal. I started by prototyping alone — writing code, testing shot patterns, and asking what a real training partner could feel like if it could observe, remember, adapt, and help a player improve over time.
Now, I’m joined by a team of builders bringing that idea to life.
Volosophy is built on a simple belief:
> Every player deserves a training system that meets them where they are — and helps them move forward.
If that belief resonates, we’d love to meet you — as a player, coach, builder, creator, tester, partner, or early believer shaping what comes next.
**Come train with us. Come build with us.**

Progress is a loop
Observe. Practice. Adjust. Repeat — with more clarity each time.

Training should remember you
Your history, patterns, goals, and rhythm should shape what comes next.

Technology should deepen the game
AI should make tennis more personal and alive, not more mechanical.
